My husband Tom & I are both retired. He retired from US Forest Service in 1998 and in that same year I was displaced from my job with Citizens Communications, which relocated in Arizona. We both enjoyed that summer off and did a lot of catch up on yard work and gardening. We spent the winter of 1998-1999 in Baja camping right on the coast a few miles South of San Jose Del Cabo. Loved it!!! We later took on running the Lassen/Modoc Food Bank. Tom was Executive Director, while I took care of all the bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, monthly financial reports and etc. We finally gave up that job after five years and retired for a second time in 2004. We have six children & step children, several grand children (not sure in some cases) between the two of us.
